The car had a gallon of gas.
It drove well. Wife liked it.
The Salesperson was selling a new A6 so I was chopped liver.
They have a kids play area.
I offered $10,600; I hate negotiating.
He’s off on some long walk to his manager to talk it over.
The thing is set for auction so come on; just let the car go.

Dealers are the ultimate in “I know what I have”.
Good luck.

My daughter and wife took off but before they did I was teaching my daughter the art of negotiation. Although she kept making an intro offer and then doubling it for the second offer; then coming down.
Her jacket I got for $7.5
Her notebook o f her drawings we were zoning in on $60 when my wife cut in; then my daughter demanded a million
A saver card for local businesses sold to us by local HS band member I got for face value of $20

Local mini dealer called me with a survey after we checked out a countryman; I gave the experience a 9 and when she asked what would have made it a 10; I told her they need a kids area. I think they add lots of value to the experience if my kid is happily distracted.

Yeah and our salesperson did all the deal making there in the kids room to make our lives easier. Really one of the best dealership experiences I've ever had
